Natalie joined the City School by Mohawk team in 2015, as part of the team that initially launched the initiative at the Eva Rothwell Centre and supported its early growth. Since then, Natalie has served Mohawk’s applied research division as Manager of Industry and Community Engagement, and spent two years in Vancouver serving the BC postsecondary sector, holding roles in applied research and experiential learning management. In December 2020, Natalie returned to Hamilton and her roots with City School. Natalie now serves as the Manager, Future Skills Partnerships, leading City School’s Future Skills Centre funded initiative, Material Handling 4.0. Her role includes managing local deliveries and supporting the pan-Canadian expansion of the City School model. Coming full circle, Natalie is thrilled to apply her intimate knowledge of City School’s history, Hamilton’s labour landscape, and Mohawk’s past successes with access initiatives to this new horizon for the City School team. Natalie holds a Master’s degree in Adult Education & Community Development from OISE, as well as a Bachelors of Education and Bachelors of Arts from Queen’s University. Natalie is a certified Project Management Professional.
