Jenny Winter is the Global Vice President, Talent, Culture and Leadership for CGI. Jenny is responsible for developing organizational and talent strategies and programs that enable CGI to deliver for its clients’ needs, achieve sustained growth, and foster an inclusive, collaborative work environment across all markets.

Prior to this role, Jenny was the HR Vice President for CGI’s Canada business unit for 5 years. Jenny led the talent strategies that contributed to strong business growth including several acquisitions and large client deals. While in this role, she built a high performing HR team that developed innovative solutions to attract and develop talent and foster an inclusive work culture. Under Jenny’s leadership, CGI was recognized as a Best Workplaces in Canada, Best Workplaces for Women, and a Top Employer in Canada for 4 consecutive years.

Prior to CGI, Jenny’s career has spanned several Fortune 500 global organizations in Human Resources and Organization Development, most recently was the Chief People Officer for Capital One Canada. Jenny is energized by change and focuses on helping organizations and people adapt and evolve as we move forward. Jenny has spoken publicly about the evolution of HR and shifting organizational strategies to support organizations and people to thrive.

Jenny earned a Bachelor of Arts from University of Toronto, with a post-Graduate Certificate in Human Resources Management from Seneca College. She is a Certified HR Executive through the Canadian HRPA. Jenny’s commitment to lifelong learning includes Agile HR through the Agile People Institute; Design Thinking; and several executive development programs in leadership and human resources. She is certified in Change Management (PROSCI), Leadership Transitions and Leadership Coaching.
