The monthly Index of Consumer Confidence is constructed from responses to four attitudinal questions posed to a random sample of Canadian households.

Document Highlights

The Index of Consumer Confidence rose 4.6 points in October, the largest increase since February 2018. Most regions saw an increase in confidence, with only Quebec and Saskatchewan–Manitoba experiencing declines.
