Well written and clear information. Some questionable scaling of sample size to generalization, but that is actually appropriate to the topic. Often EBHR decisions are made using the data that is available, and telling a compelling story with it. This reports leads by example wonderfully. |

This is a great read. Demonstrates the importance and ongoing struggle with metrics in HR. I appreciated a look into the 6As, the 5 take-aways and six traps!

Loved the report and firmly believe that as HR professionals we need to support greater capability around evidence-based decision-making. |

This report/research is timely & relevant and reflects the current challenge accurately in terms of organizations being receptive to adopting HR analytics for better decision-making. I think this will be a great resource to help us to move forward. |

Metrics are important; more important is avoiding the fixation on measurement itself. This should be balanced against books such as Jerry Z. Muller's 'The Tyranny of Metrics'. With acquiring and appraising evidence being identified as some of the more difficult tasks for HR professionals, this identifies some areas for PD workshops. Getting managers to buy into evidence over their beliefs is a problem not limited to HR. A more data/evidence driven HR would be a good development and since the 'rest' of business is in the same state as HR (p. iv) if HR Departments work with their enterprise, it would be to the benefit of HR. |

Speaks to a key challenge facing HR but still unclear how to tackle the readiness and acceptance to shift HR to evidence-based decision making. |
