- The economy generated 213,000 new positions in June and the unemployment rate increased to 4.0 per cent.
- An appreciating U.S. dollar is partially attributable to the growing trade war
- Chinese tariffs on U.S. agriculture exports are already creating problems for some U.S. farmers.
