Document Highlights
- Real GDP will expand by 5.0 per cent this year, down from the 6.3 per cent gain expected in the summer. According to forecasters, real GDP will expand by 4.2 per cent in 2022.
- Sluggish export growth—linked to the disruption in global supply chains—is the main factor behind the weaker growth in 2021.
- Forecasters expect consumer prices to increase by 3.2 per cent this year and 2.7 per cent in 2022.
