Duangsuda Sopchokchai is the Associate Director for the Economic Research Knowledge Area at The Conference Board of Canada. Duangsuda manages a team of economists who provide custom economic research services to clients across different sectors and industries.
Duangsuda has over ten years of experience conducting economic research in academic, private, and public sectors. She had worked on variety of topics, ranging from health, labour, finance, and more recently housing economics. Prior to joining CBoC, Duangsuda led a team of researchers in support of the National Housing Strategy. She is a seasoned presenter at various economic research conferences both in Canada and abroad.
When Duangsuda isn’t working on the latest economic research piece, you can probably find her outdoors, on a backcountry hiking trip or a scuba diving adventure.
Duangsuda holds a PhD in Economics from University of Ottawa where she specialized in the field of applied econometrics.
