Like many municipalities, the County oversees a range of lines of business, which present various health and safety needs and issues, including psychological wellness. The County has well-established core principles, against which it can assess and integrate new legislation. These principles also allow it the ability to evaluate new trends to determine their overall benefit to health and safety. An indicator of the success of the County’s program has been its ability to integrate employee health into its safety culture.
