Monika Slovinec D’Angelo is a health psychologist with extensive national and international experience developing, implementing, and evaluating health intervention programs, health care delivery models, and strategic health initiatives. Her applied research focuses on strategies and systematic approaches for promoting and sustaining health behaviour change across populations and settings. As a scientific investigator, Monika led research trials in health care and through consultancy roles completed numerous program evaluations at organizational, regional and national levels. She currently oversees research and convening activities in the areas of health care and health policy; workplace health, wellbeing and safety; and population health with a focus on chronic disease prevention and management.
Monika holds a Bachelor of Science, a Master’s in Education, and a Doctorate in Health Psychology, all from the University of Ottawa.
