This speaks to the need for all stakeholders to be involved. I agree with the importance of understanding the inter-relationship of benefits and attendance management in the workplace. Unfortunately the culture of being "entitled" to use sick benefits as acrued can impact staff when they need the sick benefits in the future. As mentioned it can be hard work to implement a program but it does pay off. |

This is a very interesting and successful case study. Leveraging partnerships and maintaining them is critical to the success of any disability management program especially for organizations with limited resources. Going forward, they will need to find positive ways to address the sickleave challenges. |
