Marie-Christine Bernard is the Director, Provincial and Territorial Forecast Service at the Conference Board of Canada for the past 16 years. Marie-Christine is presently in charge of the medium and long-term provincial and territorial forecast and publications and leads a small team of economists. She also oversees financed research work such as economic impact analysis, cost benefit analysis and labour supply and demand occupational forecasting projects. Marie-Christine is a spokesperson for the Conference Board.
Prior to joining the Board in 1996, Marie-Christine was part of an energy and natural resources group (GREEN) at l'Université Laval. She also did research for Gaz Métropolitain, a natural gas distributor in Montreal, on natural gas pricing for non-residential buildings in the province of Québec.
