6th Annual EARN Conference

Opening Doors to Inclusion – Workplace Strategies for Mental Health

June 6th, 2018, from 8:00 a.m. – 4:00 p.m.
Ottawa City Hall

The goal of this year’s conference is to provide strategies and resources for employers to create a more inclusive workplace experience throughout the employee lifecycle. This will ensure that you are equipped to attract and retain the best employees. Additionally we want HR professionals and hiring managers to be able to recognize and reduce the systemic and attitudinal barriers that may exist around hiring someone with a disability, with some of this year’s conversation focused on mental health.

The 6th Annual EARN Conference program includes a networking opportunity to help you meet some talented and experienced job seekers, as well as an employer focus group so that we can better understand the barriers you face when hiring people with disabilities.

Continuing on the theme of Workplace Strategies for Mental Health, a panel including employers who have hired people with mental health disabilities and employees with lived experience will share their stories and strategies for success.
