Charles has been with The Conference Board of Canada since 2014 working with the Workplace Health research group. Charles is the Executive Network manager for the Health and Safety Leadership Centre (HSLC) and the Council on Workplace Health and Wellness (CWHW). Charles was part of the team to establish the first Mental Health in the Capital conference and has supported both the Better Workplace Conference and the Workplace Mental Health conferences for the past few years. In 2018, Charles organized workshops across Canada entitled Leading Mentally Healthy Workplaces.

Prior to joining the Conference Board, Charles worked for the Healthy Active Living and Obesity Research group at the Children’s Hospital of Eastern Ontario and worked as a Health Fitness Specialist for the Bank of America. Charles has a Bachelor of Science and Masters of Arts degree in Human Kinetics from the University of Ottawa.
