The first annual Education and Skills symposium will attract expert presenters and participants from across Canada and around the world.
The symposium will bring together 250–300 participants representing the key stakeholders across the education and skills continuum in Canada, including: school board representatives; senior university, college and apprenticeship program administrators; faculty, staff, and students; federal, provincial, territorial, and municipal government representatives; key associations; large and small businesses; professional and regulatory associations; and experts in training and learning.
The Conference Board’s convening capacity enables us to bring together education leaders, representatives of the key service delivery groups, students, business, government, and community groups to share insights, dialogue about research results, and find common ground for the vision and action steps to achieve change.
The unique environment of interactive learning, sharing, and networking will provide participants with ample time and opportunities to connect with speakers and experts, engage in meaningful conversations, and cultivate strategic partnerships.
Attend to meet and connect with key leaders from education, business, and government, and to participate in cross-sector discussions on the latest trends and issues relating to education and skills development—including the policies, practices, and programs needed to build accessible and fluid education and skills pathways in Canada.
Symposium attendees will include representatives from:
- Primary and secondary education, including senior management, staff, school board representatives
- Post-secondary education, including senior management, faculty, staff, students, alumni
- Professional associations
- Regulatory associations
