Our 2018 conference emphasized the shift from procurement for commodities to procurement for patient outcomes. Presenters and attendees gathered at the Design Exchange in Toronto to discuss the emergence of value-based health care models, which show a shift from emphasis on volume of services provided to patient outcomes achieved, thus optimizing value for patients.
This conference explored best practices from the regions of Canada and explored international examples. Stakeholders from industry, researchers, the provinces, health care institutions and service providers came together to engage in dialogue addressing the opportunities to embrace evolving procurement practices to improve patient outcomes and enhance the bottom-line.
We’d like to thank our generous sponsors for their contribution to this event.
