On May 30-31, 2018, over 400 stakeholders including federal minister Ahmed Hussen convened in Ottawa to explore how we can strengthen Canada’s economy and immigrant settlement program. Immigration is more important to Canada’s economy than ever before due to the country’s demographic challenges and a strong settlement program is key to ensuring that Canada can continue to reap immigration’s economic rewards.
