In many regions of Canada, growth in domestic tourism activity this year has been modest but still positive. Coming off a strong 2017 that saw growth boosted by the hosting of various anniversary celebrations across the country and free admission to national parks and historic sites, it was projected that growth in 2018 would be more modest.
