In 2016, The Conference Board of Canada surveyed organizations across Canada on their rewards and recognition programs and practices. From a total of 383 responses, The Conference Board of Canada published the report The Power of Appreciation: Rewards and Recognition Practices in Canadian Organizations which details the results of this survey.

    Nicole Stewart is a Principal Research Associate, on the Total Rewards Research Team at The Conference Board of Canada. In her 12 years at the Board Nicole has done research in several areas including compensation, benefits, pensions, health and wellness, recognition and performance management. She currently conducts research for the Board's Compensation Research Centre. She is an active member of WorldatWork.
