Composite leading index for Canada
The Conference Board of Canada’s Composite Leading Index fell 0.8 points to 107.8 (2014 = 100) in August. The drop follows a revised 0.1-point increase in July. The August index uses economic indicators from July and August 2019.
About the Composite leading index
Every month the Conference Board of Canada tracks the performance of nine indicators that lead the short-term course of the economy. An analysis is available to e-Library subscribers or for a one-time fee. The Composite leading index has been produced since 2016.
