The Territorial Outlook provides the economic and fiscal outlook for each of Canada’s three Northern territories, including output by industry, labour markets, and demographics. Document Highlights Mining activities will help see the territorial economies through the slower global economic growth Nunavut’s strong mining sector will help the economy grow at a solid pace over the next several years. Weaker growth in mining in the Northwest Territories will affect other areas of the economy, notably construction activity. Economic growth in Yukon will slow this year but then rebound in the next decade new mines start operating.
