Workplace romances—even consensual ones—can raise a host of issues for managers trying to ensure a productive and healthy workplace. While productivity and a safe working environment are at the forefront of manager’s minds, that can be just the tip of the iceberg. Workplace romances can also give rise to conflicts of interests, both real and perceived. They can make allegations of workplace harassment harder to address. They can challenge our understanding of where lines ought to be drawn between an employee’s private and professional lives. Left unchecked, they can sew seeds of distrust in the workplace—both for those in the relationship and beyond.

Webinar Highlights

Using real world examples, this 60-minute recorded webinar will touch on each of these issues, and go through the employer’s toolbox to help human resource professionals better understand whether, when and how to regulate romance in the workplace.
