Manitoba Regional Sounding

On behalf of the Future Skills Centre–Centre des Compétences futures (FSC-CCF)The University of Winnipeg, the Business/Higher Education Roundtable, the University of Manitoba, Red River College, and The Conference Board of Canada have partnered to facilitate the Manitoba stop on the Regional Sounding Tour.

What?

The session will begin with a brief introduction to the Future Skills Centre’s mandate and objectives, with updates on its operations and activities. Next, we will turn to attendees to hear your thoughts and ideas about how the Future Skills Centre can best support your community today for workforce opportunities of the future.

Why?

The aim of the Future Skills Centre is to test and rigorously measure innovative approaches to identify emerging in-demand skills, and help Canadians develop the skills they need to take full advantage of and succeed in the new economy.

We want to hear your perspective on how the Future Skills Centre can best meet the diverse future skills needs of Manitobans. 9:15 a.m Breakout Sessions Participants will break out into small groups to discuss how the Future Skills Centre can best support their region today for workforce opportunities of the future.
