Joe Blomeley is Senior Vice-President, Ontario Region Lead and Public Sector at Morneau Shepell. Joe has been with the firm since 2016 where he is responsible for working with large strategic clients, overseeing Morneau Shepell’s national public sector and healthcare business development strategy and liaising with senior government officials. He regularly delivers thought-leadership on public policy, healthcare, innovation and HR issues. Joe also leads Morneau Shepell’s business in the Ontario Region.

Prior to joining the firm, he was Vice-President, Innovation and Skills at the Business Council of Canada, where he was responsible for innovation and education policy, as well as leading the day-to-day operations of the Business/Higher Education Roundtable. In this role, Joe worked closely with the CEOs of Canada’s largest companies.

He is a member of the Canadian Mental Health Association–York Region’s Board of Directors; the Ontario Chamber of Commerce’s Policy and Health Advisory Committees and the Banff Leadership Forum; and is a Policy Fellow with the University of Ottawa’s Education Policy Research Initiative.
