Lois Mainville joined the Provincial and Territorial Forecasting team in 2014, contributing to the national, provincial and territorial forecast products. Lois manages the demographics forecast as well as the mining, commercial services, finance and information technology sectors. She is also responsible for monitoring the provinces of Nova Scotia and New Brunswick.
Prior to joining the Board, Lois worked was a pricing and reimbursement analyst in the pharmaceutical industry. Among her duties, she forecasted the impact of new pharmaceutical products on provincial healthcare budgets. She holds a M.A. in Economics from Université Laval and a Bachelor of Social Science with Honours in Economics at the University of Ottawa. Lois also holds a double-certificate in Big Data, Advanced Data Science and Predictive Analytics from York University.
