The composite leading index of the Canadian economy sums up the performance of nine components that track the short-term course of the economy.
- The Conference Board of Canada’s Composite Leading Index rose 0.9 points to 108.9 (2014 = 100) in January.
- This month’s increase follows a revised 0.8-point decline in December. This is the largest increase in nine months.
