The monthly Index of consumer confidence is constructed from responses to four attitudinal questions posed to a random sample of Canadian households.

The Conference Board of Canada’s Index of consumer confidence fell 1.0 point to 119.3 (2014 = 100) in June. Only the Ontario and Saskatchewan–Manitoba indexes rose this month; all other regions posted declines.
