In Canada and some American states, the impact of the legalization of cannabis for both medicinal and recreational cannabis on workplace productivity is unknown. Managing the safety and organizational culture risks presented by cannabis-induced impairment has been magnified, but the full extent of employer liability risks and productivity costs has not yet been fully understood.
