Board chairs preside the most powerful body in an organization: the board of directors. Yet, there is no handbook on the workings of their role and what they should do to successfully provide effective board leadership.

The INSEAD Corporate Governance Initiative conducted 74 face-to-face interviews with experienced board Chairs to produce a research project spanning nine European countries. Findings provide a recipe on how chairs can execute their three specific roles of leadership: engage, enable and encourage.

Join governance expert and researcher Stanislav Shekshnia as he shares the findings from the INSEAD study including the role of Board Chairs and best practices from top Chairs to effectively lead a board of directors.
