Fares Bounajm has been an economist with The Conference Board of Canada since August 2010. As part of the Provincial Forecast team, he contributes to the Board’s National and Provincial Outlooks, focusing on business investment, the Ontario economy and the performance of the mining and motor vehicles and parts manufacturing industries.
Fares has also worked for the Board’s Canadian Tourism Research Institute (CTRI) and Canadian Alliance for Sustainable Health Care (CASHC), where he contributed to research in tourism, health care, and a large number of custom research projects. He has significant experience in economic modeling and data analysis. Prior to joining the Conference Board, Fares worked as a researcher in the transportation sector.
