Global Business-Education-Community Partnerships Survey
The Conference Board of Canada, in collaboration with The International education business Partnership Network (The IPN), undertook an international research initiative to shed llight on the issues, trends, innovations and obstacles that business-education-community partnerships face—both today and in the future. Business-Education-Community Partnerships Business-Education-Community Partnerships mean different things to different people, communities and countries: they come in a variety of shapes and sizes; however, at their fundamental level they all share a number of commonalities. They are mutually beneficial relationships between employers, educators and/or other stakeholders as partners—including, for example, communities, labour, or governments—designed to enhance learning for students and other learners. They are co-operative relationships in which partners share values, objectives, human, material or financial resources, roles and responsibilities in order to achieve desired learning outcomes.
