Canadian Education Association
CEA initiates and sustains dialogue throughout the country influencing public policy issues in education for the ongoing development of a robust, democratic society and a prosperous and sustainable economy.

Council of Ministers of Education, Canada (CMEC) 
CMEC is the national voice for education in Canada. It is the mechanism through which ministers consult and act on matters of mutual interest, and the instrument through which they consult and cooperate with national education organizations and the federal government. CMEC also represents the education interests of the provinces and territories internationally.

The International education business Partnership Network (The IPN)
The IPN is a Global Network of education, business and community partnerships. It offers a series of services to members and associates which enable partnerhip development, provide opportunities for collaborative learning and facilitate global networking.

Industry Canada
Industry Canada's mandate is to help make Canadians more productive and competitive in the knowledge-based economy, thus improving the standard of living and quality of life in Canada.

Human Resources and Skills Development
The Department of Human Resources and Skills Development (HRSD) is responsible for providing all Canadians with the tools they need to thrive and prosper in the workplace and community. HRSD supports human capital development, labour market development and are dedicated to establishing a culture of lifelong learning for Canadians.

Canadian Heritage
Canadian Heritage is responsible for national policies and programs that promote Canadian content, foster cultural participation, active citizenship and participation in Canada's civic life, and strengthen connections among Canadians.

Sport Canada
Sport Canada supports the achievement of high performance excellence and the development of the Canadian sport system to strengthen the unique contribution that sport makes to Canadian identity, culture and society.

Ontario Ministry of Training Colleges and Universities
Training is key to being competitive in a global economy. Employers constantly require new and higher levels of skills because of continuing technological change in the workplace. Strong literacy and basic skills are needed for success in any labour market. To help Ontario meet these challenges, the Ministry of Training, Colleges and Universities supports programs and services for both employers and employees.

Canadian Society for Training and Development (CSTD) 
CSTD is a not-for-profit membership association dedicated to the profession of training, workplace learning and human resources development.

Career Development Association of Alberta 
The Career Development Association of Alberta is an incorporated society and professional association of career development practitioners interested in supporting each other in practice by networking, information sharing, creating learning opportunities, ensuring that we have a voice and staying current within a developing field.

Literacy

National Adult Literacy Database(NALD) 
The National Adult Literacy Database Inc. (NALD) is a federally incorporated, non-profit service organization which fills the crucial need for a single-source, comprehensive, up-to-date and easily accessible database of adult literacy programs, resources, services and activities across Canada. It also links with other services and databases in North America and overseas.

Sectors

The Sector Council Research Project 
The Sector Council Program is linked to Canada’s Workplace Skills Strategy, which aims to help Canadians acquire the skills needed for meaningful and productive employment. The Government of Canada, through the Sector Council Program, works with business, unions, employees, and other levels of government to ensure that Canadians have the opportunity to develop their skills and succeed, and to ensure that the needs of employers are met.

Le projet de recherche sur les conseils sectoriels 
Le Programme des conseils sectoriels est lié à la Stratégie des compétences en milieu de travail du Canada, dont le but consiste à aider la population canadienne à acquérir les compétences nécessaires pour occuper des emplois utiles et productifs. Le Gouvernement du Canada, par l’entremise du Programme des conseils sectoriels, travaille avec les entreprises, les syndicats, les employés, et d’autres paliers du gouvernement, pour veiller à ce que tous les Canadiens et Canadiennes aient l’occasion de perfectionner leurs compétences et de réussir, et pour s’assurer que les besoins des employeurs soient comblés.

Alliance of Sector Councils 
The Alliance of Sector Councils (TASC) is a coordinating body formed of some 29 sector councils. Sector councils bring together representatives from business, labour, education and other professional groups in a neutral forum in order to comprehensively and cooperatively analyze and address sector-wide human resource issues.

Canadian Federation of Independent Business (CFIB) 
CFIB works on behalf of more than 100,000 independent business owners in every sector and region in Canada. Taking our direction from CFIB Members, through regular surveys, we lobby for small- and medium-sized businesses at the federal, provincial and local levels of government.
