Canadian Industrial Trends-All 16 Industry Sectors Service

The service enables executives to understand at a glance the economic trends of industries affecting their business. Key drivers of the sectors are concisely analyzed with principal conclusions drawn on the present and future trends.
Each of the 16 Canadian industries is updated twice a year using the Conference Board's econometric and financial model and covers five-year forecasts. Reports include an assessment of the key issues, risk, recent performance, and supply and demand drivers both domestically and internationally, as well as a financial analysis of the sector. Forecasts and recent history are demonstrated in an easy-to-read table format that displays output (gross domestic product), employment, prices, revenues, costs and profits. Each industry has current and historical reports.

Canadian Industrial Sector Forecast Database Service

This service offers economists and analysts access to data series and tables including historical and forecast data for their industry. Databases contain detailed financial and economic information that underline the conclusions outlined in the industry reports.
The databases contain the detailed data for each of the 16 sectors. Included is access to a full set of historical data—going back as far as 1987—and a 5-year forecast for each indicator, in quarterly and annual frequency. Data is updated two times a year and can be downloaded as individual series or in formatted tables. Between 21 and 400 indicators for each industry sector.
