Council on Corporate Aboriginal Relations

The Council on Corporate–Aboriginal Relations (CCAR) is a network that helps  companies that manage, or are seeking to manage, relationships with Aboriginal  groups and businesses in Canada. It allows members to share innovative examples of managing corporate–Aboriginal relations and partnerships and provides leadership by leveraging members’ knowledge and expertise to address business and societal challenges related to Aboriginal issues. Council members include many thought leaders who understand the value of a corporate–Aboriginal relations strategy.

Corporate Community Investment Council

Members of the Corporate Community Investment Council (CCIC) are professionals from nationally recognized corporations in diverse industries with one common interest: They want to make a difference in the lives of those around them by contributing in a meaningful way to the development and growth of society. This is a responsibility they accept willingly, and scrupulously strive to meet.

Corporate Ethics Management Council

The Corporate Ethics Management Council (CEMC) is for executives responsible for all facets of ethics and compliance management in major Canadian public and private sector organizations. The Council meets in camera three times a year to discuss common challenges, emerging issues, and leading practices in corporate ethics and compliance.

Strategic Risk Council

The Strategic Risk Council (SRC) helps organizations develop, implement, and  sustain an enterprise-wide risk management process that is appropriate to their  organization’s unique set of goals, strengths, weaknesses, and structures. It provides  strategic and operational insights into how organizations can establish risk management capabilities by integrating successful board and senior management governance principles with strategic planning processes.

Public Enterprise Governance Centre

The Public Enterprise Governance Centre (PEGC) is a network of leaders from Canadian municipal, provincial, and federal Crown corporations. The Centre holds in camera meetings twice a year to allow members to share insights and innovations in governance excellence. Meetings include facilitated discussions with senior Crown executives and board-level directors. PEGC also conducts leading-edge research in the area of governance, board-level management, and other issues facing Canadian Crown corporations.
