Meetings

Spring 2012

Please mark your calendar for The Conference Board of Canada's executive health network's collaborative event!

On April 16, 2012 the Conference Board's executive health networks will convene in Toronto at The Old Mill Inn and Spa.

The objectives of the collaborative meeting are:

  • To create a one-day forum for the Conference Board's health-related executive networks to meet together, to build a common network and to exchange knowledge;
  • To present the preliminary findings of research conducted by the Conference Board's Scholar-in-Residence Program and to gather insights and reflections on those findings;
  • To help shape the Conference Board's strategic engagement in the health arena.

The key note address will be given my Mr. André Picard, who is one of Canada's top health and public policy observers and commentators. Currently the public health reporter at The Globe and Mail, he has been a staff writer since 1987. He is also the author of three books and has received much acclaim for his writing and for his dedication to improving healthcare. In 2010, he was awarded a National Newspaper Award as Canada's top newspaper columnist. Mr. Picard is also The Conference Board of Canada's Scholar-in-Residence.
