Who Should Join?

The Centre for the Commercialization of Mining Technologies and Services (CCMTS) is for senior executives in private and public sector organizations committed to improving the global competitiveness of the Canadian mining sector. Membership is particularly relevant for:

• mining companies;
• suppliers of mining technologies and services;
• industry associations;
• academics;
• all levels of government.

What Are the Benefits of Membership?

As a CCMTS member, you will:

• develop action plans and strategies to improve the competitiveness of Canadian mining technology and services providers, and to constructively influence public policy;
• network with peers from relevant government departments, and from companies supplying technologies and services to the mining sector;
• receive access to a full range of Conference Board and CCMTS research, and information services tailored to the needs of member organizations;
• leverage emerging research, public policy insights, and global best/next practices experiences for the benefit of your organization.

Membership Fee

There are three levels of involvement in the CCMTS:

Partner: $22,225
Participant: $11,700
Contributor: $5,085 (colleges and universities only)

As a Participant, you will:

• participate in all CCMTS meetings and discussions;
• provide input into the development of research projects and key messages;
• receive opportunities to co-chair a CCMTS working group.

As a Partner, you will:

• receive all of the benefits listed above;
• participate as a co-chair in one of the Centre’s working groups, which defines research topics, meeting themes, speaker selection, and communications planning;
• sponsor one start-up company of your choice, which will be given a free CCMTS membership;
• receive opportunities to showcase initiatives in your organization through site visits, presentations, and by hosting meetings.
