Levels of Participation

There are three categories of involvement in the Centre for Chronic Disease Prevention and Management, each with distinct benefits.

As a Partner of the Centre, your participation will include:

  • Steering Committee Membership: Participating in the overall planning, conduct and decision-making for the Centre, including specific activities such as setting agendas and selecting research projects; 
  • Participant Selection: Making recommendations on the selection of new members and assisting with recruitment; 
  • Hosting Opportunities: Convening meetings on your premises and presenting your organization’s perspectives to the Centre; 
  • Communications Activities: Participating in strategic communications, including news releases and media briefings. 

Partner Annual Fee: $24,750

As a Participant in the Centre, you are entitled to the following benefits:

  • Centre Participation: Participating in all Centre meetings and discussions, including input to meeting agendas, research topics and key messages;
  • Key Messaging: Having immediate access to briefings, output reports and results; providing editorial and content review; 
  • Communications Activities: Participating in communications planning and activities.

Participant (Government ministries and large organizations)
Annual Fee: $11,825

Participant (Other interested parties such as not-for-profit, small business)
Annual Fee: $4,225

Membership fees are in effect from June 1, 2012–May 31, 2013.
