Business Council for Sustainability

The Business Council for Sustainability (BCS) is a network of senior business executives responsible for environmental management and sustainability issues in medium-sized and large Canadian organizations. As leaders in the field, member organizations have made strategic commitments to social and environmental responsibility.

BCS members meet three times per year, to network and participate in high-impact learning.

Key Objectives

  • Build sustainable competitiveness within member organizations through peer-to-peer learning and knowledge exchange.
  • Leverage emerging research, public policy insights, and global best practice experiences for the benefit of member organizations.

Testimonial

The BCS provides members with a forum for sharing valuable insights into current and upcoming trends in Social Responsibility and Sustainability. Presentations by specialized speakers…are a means to benchmark against other industries. Member requests for specific topics are always considered.
