The latest release of data from Statistics Canada held mostly good news for the Canadian economy. Following a decline in October, real GDP was up in November. The jobs market posted another good result in January. And the economy posted its second consecutive merchandise trade surplus—welcome news after a long string of trade deficits stretching back to 2014.
