The Exploration Management Forum
Conference e-Proceedings by The Conference Board of Canada
November 2005, Source: The Conference Board of Canada

As production from maturing oil and gas fields in the Western Canadian Sedimentary Basin (WCSB) declines, E&P companies are finding it challenging to replace those reserves. Even though oil and gas drilling is at record levels, true exploration still only accounts for a very small proportion of total wells drilled.

This year’s Exploration Management Forum will build on the success of the previous two events, addressing exploration opportunities as well as the challenges currently facing the sector. Industry leaders will discuss their strategies and tactics, and share their perspectives on the exploration potential of the WCSB.
