Craig Alexander, Senior Vice-President and Chief Economist, will provide the global and national economic outlook and will discuss the global macro-economic trends in the context of global economic growth, commodity markets, changes in trade patterns, and Canada's national performance.

Pedro Antunes, Executive Director, Economic Outlook and Analysis and Deputy Chief Economist, will provide highlights from the Conference Board's most recent provincial and metropolitan outlooks and discuss the macro-economic trends buffeting the Provincial economy as well as the forecast for the metropolitan area of Halifax.

Scott Jamieson will discuss the economic benefits that the Halifax Shipyard is bringing through the National Shipbuilding Strategy.

Ian Munro will discuss the Atlantic Immigration Pilot as a means of addressing looming demographic challenges and as an economic opportunity for the Halifax region.
