2016 Event

In partnership with the Indigenous Peoples' Health Research Centre, the Johnson-Shoyama Graduate School of Public Policy, and the First Nations University of Canada, the Conference Board's Saskatchewan Institute convened Indigenous health stakeholders from across Saskatchewan, regional health authorities, regional and national health organizations, health researchers, and allied health professionals and discussed:

  • innovative policies and programs that are helping to improve Indigenous health outcomes throughout the province;
  • inclusion of Indigenous knowledge, understanding, and methods in the delivery of health care to Indigenous people;
  • strategies to incorporate Indigenous health innovations into our health care system in the short- and long-term.
