Social Media and HR: How Human Resources Can Harness New Media for Improved Results •
May 17, 2012 •
John Brewer is the owner of Idea Exchange, and has over 20 years’ experience producing conferences on change, human resources, IT, pensions, risk, governance, compensation, and project management. John has been developing events for The Conference Board of Canada since 2000. His current focus is on developing new event formats and encouraging debate, discussion and collaboration across media.
Designed to help you best capitalize on the social media revolution.
In working on several highly successful social media and innovation events it became clear to me that may people needed to go beyond an overview of social media. So I’m designing this event so you can take a deep dive into how social media can help you now.
This led to a dedicated event for HR professionals that will be hands-on and helpful—featuring James Norrie as your social media guide and case study sessions that illustrate the practical implementation of social media.
No breathless evangelists—just practical, usable experiences and insights.
I could think of no better way to start this project than engaging James Norrie to act as your guide to social HR. James always leaves his audiences wanting more and that is what this event will deliver. James will deliver two ninety minute sessions that will frame the day.
Complementing James insights will be several case study sessions that will provide you with practical examples of social media in action—how it is helping organizations now recruit, on-board and engage the talent they need. You will also hear about how to develop an effective policy for social media use.
It’s time for HR to take the lead in social media—this event will show you how.
I hope you’ll join us for this enlightening event. Register now and join our discussion on LinkedIn or Twitter! I look forward to meeting you and hearing your ideas on social HR.
