Thy is currently a Senior Research Associate, Health Economics, for the Canadian Alliance for Sustainable Health Care.
Before joining the Conference Board, Thy worked on a number of key public health issues. For instance, she was the lead researcher on a health economic analysis of mammography screening programs in Canada, and a senior research associate with the CT Lamont Centre at the Elizabeth Bruyère Research Institute, analyzing the health economic impacts of various primary health care interventions. She also worked at the Public Health Agency of Canada in a number of capacities and as a part-time professor at the University of Ottawa.
Since joining The Conference Board, Thy has led the research on the health and economic impact of interprofessional primary teams. Thy currently holds an MSc in Epidemiology from Queen's University and is a doctoral candidate in Population Health at the University of Ottawa.
