Dr. Daniel F. Muzyka is the President and Chief Executive Officer of The Conference Board of Canada and the RBC Financial Group Professor of Entrepreneurship at the University of British Columbia's Sauder School of Business. He is also Vice-President and Chair of the Natural Sciences and Engineering Research Council of Canada (NSERC).

Senior Vice-President and Chief Economist

Craig Alexander brings over 20 years of experience in the private sector as an economic and financial forecaster
to the position of Senior Vice President and Chief Economist. Mr. Alexander oversees the Board’s Economics Department. This group produces macroeconomic forecasts for the Canadian economy, provinces, territories,
and industries.

Vice-President, Vice President, Industry Strategy and Public Policy

Louis joined The Conference Board of Canada in 1997. He specializes in product development and economic analysis. Louis is currently Vice-President, Public Policy responsible for research and networks in the areas of national security and public safety, health (including the Canadian Alliance for Sustainable Health Care), energy, environment and transportation policy and the Centre for the North.

Vice-President, Operations and Chief Financial Officer

Joanne Mortimore provides direction and oversight for the Board’s financial reporting, information technology and governance practices. Joanne is a Chartered Professional Accountant/Certified General Accountant and holds an Executive Masters in Sport Management Organization from the University of Lyon. She also has a degree in Financial Management from Algonquin College.

Executive Director, Western Canada

Bruce Leslie leads business development and brand expansion of the Conference Board in Canada’s most dynamic and growing business region. Bruce has worked in the media and communications field across Canada for more than 25 years and also has several years’ experience in both the agency world, and in the oil and gas sector.
