Over the past ten years, The Conference Board of Canada has conducted four rounds of the HR Trends and Metrics Surveys with Canadian organizations benchmarking Talent and Human Capital practices. Data collected through our 2016 HR Trends and Metrics survey allows The Conference Board to provide a unique analysis of where Canadian organizations are on our continuum of workforce planning approaches. For more than 20 years, Shannon has been helping organizations build better practices related to talent management, transitioning the workforce, and HR effectiveness. Shannon’s team is focused on researching workforce strategies and analytics and the impact of a digital economy on Human Capital strategies and practices. Shannon holds an M. in Industrial Relations from the University of Toronto.

About Pedro

Photo of Pedro AntunesPedro Antunes is the Conference Board of Canada’ Executive Director, Economic Outlook and Analysis and Deputy Chief Economist. Pedro is responsible for managing a team of economists in producing the Conference Board's medium and long-term economic forecasts along with other economic indicators and reports. Pedro is a spokesperson for the Conference Board and does presentations on the forecast to clients and the public and is often cited in the media.

About Jane

Photo of Jane CooperJane Cooper is a research associate at the Conference Board of Canada. Jane has expertise as a policy analyst specializing in human resource development issues in Canada and internationally, and is a Credentialed Evaluator (Canadian Evaluation Society). She has twenty-five years’ experience in research and management on a variety of learning and development initiatives. Jane holds an M.Sc. in Human Resource Management and Development from the University of Manchester.
