There’s been a great deal of economic change recently in the West and nationally. In a changing environment, investing in effective HR practices and the leaders that will drive productivity and innovation is more important than ever. Western Compensation and HR Outlook 2015 provided delegates with the information and insights they needed to refine their compensation and HR policies to weather the economic storm.
Conference Board Deputy Chief Economist Pedro Antunes provided an economic outlook for the months ahead which included the upsides, and indentified what the risks were for Western economic growth. The Conference Board’s Vice-President of Leadership and Human Resources Research, Lynn Stoudt, presented the results from the Conference Board’s annual compensation planning survey, which provided delegates with the latest statistics on compensation and pay plans.
Delegates also benefited from practical HR and leadership insights from thought leaders and practitioners, as they examined issues including trends and issues in executive compensation, changing HR priorities for the years to come, and the leader’s role in driving engagement during times of uncertainty.
