This session will explore:
- the Leadership Performance Index and the measures it includes,
- how this index can be used as a quality assessment tool to enhance overall organizational performance,
- specific examples which will help to quantify the impact that strong leadership has on key areas of organizational performance
- what high performing Canadian organization’s do differently when it comes to leadership culture, organizational change, and building leadership capacity.
Donna Burnett Vachon is an Associate Director with the Leadership and Human Resources Research Division of The Conference Board of Canada. Since joining the Board in October 2011, Donna has been actively involved in research and advisory services in the areas of leadership, organization design, development and change as well as organizational learning and the advancement of women leaders.
Colin Hall is a Senior Research Associate with the Leadership and Human Resources Research Division of the Conference Board of Canada. Since joining the Conference Board of Canada in October of 2012, Colin has been actively involved in custom research in addition to being instrumental in a variety of commissioned evaluation projects. Colin also oversees the publication of the Conference Board’s Learning and Development Outlook, which tracks trends in learning and developing practices within Canadian organizations.
