Robert Meyer-Robinson joined the Conference Board of Canada in 2015 as an Economist within the Industrial Economic Trends group. In this role, Robert is responsible for overseeing and producing economic forecasts and analysis for several Canadian industries including wood product manufacturing, paper product manufacturing, food manufacturing, and food services. In addition, Robert conducts custom research for public and private sector clients, touching on topics including labour shortages in agriculture, supply-chain analysis, and Canada-U.S. trade relations. Robert holds a Bachelor of Arts Honours degree in economics and German from Queen's University, and a Master's degree in economics from Carleton University.
