Document Highlights

By most accounts, 2017 was a successful year for domestic tourism activity in Canada. Boosted by various anniversary celebrations and free admission to national parks and historic sites, overnight visits increased by an estimated 2.9 per cent. This Travel Exclusive newsletter reports on the findings of the latest (October 2017) Travel Intentions Survey to see if this momentum is expected to carry over during the winter months (between November 1, 2017, and April 30, 2018).
