An effective ethics and compliance program plays an important role in the success of any organization. Corporate boards have a significant responsibility to oversee and monitor a company’s compliance program. In many cases, corporate boards find themselves behind when fulfilling their corporate compliance oversight responsibilities. Chief Compliance Officers (CCOs) face an ongoing challenge to educate and train board members on how to monitor the company’s compliance program and the commitment of corporate leaders to the program.
